Privacy
The short version
Lycan collects as little as it can. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Scan results are never stored.
What we process and why
- The domain you scan. It is sent to our server only to run the scan. The result goes back to your browser and is not saved. We do not keep a list of scanned domains.
- Your email address, if you join the list. We store the address and the date you joined, and use it only to send an email when new checks ship.
- Your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses it to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and enforce limits such as six scans per minute. We do not write IP addresses to our database.
- Your language choice. It is saved in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us.
Cookies
Lycan sets no cookies. Because nothing tracks you, there is no cookie banner.
Who else sees data
We do not sell or share personal data. Cloudflare hosts the site and the database for us and acts as our processor under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Scan data: not kept. Email addresses: until you ask us to remove them or the list is closed.
Your rights
Under KVKK (Turkey) and GDPR (EU) you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to hello@lycansoc.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
